Paulius is Head of Global Software Asset Management at Zurich Insurance, where he is responsible for defining and leading the company’s global SAM strategy. In this role, he oversees software compliance, cost control, and vendor engagement across multiple regions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Before taking over the global function, he served as Head of Software Asset Management for the European region at Zurich, managing compliance, budgeting, and license optimization initiatives. Earlier in his career, Paulius held various positions in asset and license management across the IT and software industries, including roles at CAS, Novell, and IBM, where he gained hands-on experience in software audits, contract oversight, and infrastructure asset tracking.
